Samantha Woodbridge

Sam completed her Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics from Edith Cowan University and has gained experience as an Accredited Practising Dietitian, working in acute care and rehabilitation.

From a young age, Sam understood the importance of food in fuelling everyday life. Her interest in food, nutrition and health began in her school years, where she played in local sports teams, attended group fitness classes, and experienced first hand benefits of good nutrition on performance and overall well-being. Combined with her love of science and human biology, and her passion for sharing knowledge and experiences with others, this naturally led her to pursue a career in nutrition and dietetics.

Sam has a special interest in Aboriginal health, shaped by her upbringing in the Northern Territory, where she gained valuable insights into the determinants of health through an understanding of the unique considerations of remote food systems. Her expertise includes tailoring evidence-based nutrition advice to meet a variety of people’s needs. She enjoys working with clients to manage chronic conditions, including diabetes, liver, chronic obstructive pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases and has a keen interest in gut health from her own experiences.

When she’s not working with clients, Sam loves exploring local cafes and restaurants around Perth, spending time outdoors and travelling to new places with her partner.

Sam works from our rooms at Pramana Medical Centre. She is committed to making nutrition accessible to all while fostering strong and supportive relationships with her clients.
