Amy Caira
Amy is a passionate exercise physiologist who has over +9 years of experience working in private practice across the Central Coast, Hunter, and Newcastle region. Having completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Newcastle, and then a Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2015, Amy has continued to upskill and expand her knowledge across a variety of chronic conditions.
Amy wants to empower clients to live a healthier, active, and more fulfilling life and approaches this in an understanding and nurturing client-centred approach. Amy has lived an active lifestyle since her childhood years, which has contributed to her career choices and the opportunity to promote exercise-related benefits.
Amy is extremely passionate about the role exercise plays in supporting mental health. In addition to this, Amy’s expertise lies in cardiovascular rehabilitation, type 2 diabetes, and women’s health, where she has worked extensively and completed additional training.
